Following the foundation of CERA (Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Alliance), Whyte Construction has been accredited to carry out demolition contract works and project manage demolitions with in the red zone and the greater Christchurch area.

Buildings of Historical importance have formed part of the portfolio, primarily preserving our heritage, making it safe and weather- tight.
